About me

Hi! I’m Divyanshu, a Grade 12 IBDP student at Navrachana International School, Vadodara. I enjoy building and fixing things, from shop-floor optimizations to small DIY projects, and I love exploring Green AI and how tech can make manufacturing cleaner and smarter. I’m hard-working, creative, team-oriented— and I love to lead: the kind of person who sketches an idea, rallies a team, tests it, and iterates until it works. Off the desk, you’ll find me on the basketball court, doodling and designing, or volunteering on community projects. My goal is simple: engineer useful things that do good.

Research Work

I’m deeply interested in research at the intersection of manufacturing and sustainability. My work spans a rooftop rainwater harvesting system in Vadodara projected to recharge 1.1M+ liters in five years, a published literature review on Green AI for Sustainable Manufacturing & Supply Chains (synthesizing 32 studies), and a VMC optimization + digital twin project that improved lights-out machining—cutting idle time by ~8% through probe calibration, tool-offset routines, and OEE tracking.

Internships

Leadership
Manufacturing Optimization Intern
— Elmex Electric Pvt. Ltd.

Worked on lights-out machining for a VMC: Blum probe calibration, tool-offset routines, and an OEE dashboard to track cycle time, downtime, and first-pass yield. Built a cycle-time model and SOPs that helped cut idle time by ~8% and improved shift-to-shift consistency.

Community
Automation & Quality Intern
— Elmex Electric Pvt. Ltd.

Programmed PLCs for basic test rigs, ran Moldflow simulations for DFM, and supported fixture/tolerance checks to stabilize quality. Set up simple data-logging for preventive maintenance and documented run-books to standardize trials.

Sports Engagement
Hannover Messe, Germany — Stall Member

Got the opportunity to represent Elmex at our booth at one of the world’s largest engineering fairs. I handled live product demos, explained specs to international visitors, captured leads, and did competitor & trend mapping across halls (automation, motion, digital ecosystems, energy). Key takeaways: deeper exposure to cobots, CNC automation, digital twins, and sustainable manufacturing— plus how to communicate tech clearly to customers from different markets.

Community Outreach

As President of the Rotary Interact Club of Baroda Cosmopolitan, I led hands-on projects that blended logistics, fundraising, and service. At Don Bosco Snehalaya, I helped organize a Children’s Day Fair for 800+ kids, coordinating games, supplies, and volunteers to make sure every child left smiling. At Paathshala, I spearheaded a Cervical Cancer Vaccination Drive, raising ₹94,000 to provide three vaccine doses for hostel students and donating winter sweaters alongside the health camp. I also led a raincoat distribution for factory workers so they could commute safely through the monsoon. Across these initiatives, I mobilized teams, managed budgets and partners, and mentored the board—turning intent into measurable, lasting impact.

Project 3

I volunteer in the pediatric cancer playroom, creating a cheerful, low-stress space for kids and families. I painted a bright, storybook-style door for the room and spent sessions playing games, solving puzzles, reading, and teaching simple art activities so every child can make something they’re proud of. My role is equal parts listener and teammate— keeping spirits up, celebrating tiny wins, and giving parents a breather. The experience has taught me patience, gentleness, and how small moments of joy can make tough days lighter.

On the Court

I’ve loved sports since I was a kid— football was my first game, but basketball became my home. I’ve captained the basketball teams for both NISV and Vadodara City, guiding my school to consistent tournament wins and leading my city side to multiple runners-up finishes. At the ISSO national-level tournament, I led my school to a third place finish. Across seasons, I’ve been an 8-time state player and 3-time national player, training for speed, agility, and endurance— and thriving when the game gets tight. I also stay active with badminton, football, and cricket, carrying the same teamwork and grit into every match.
